Need Something To Upload on YouTube? How About Another "Lazy Sunday" Parody?

So you signed up for YouTube but you're tired of just being a voyeur. What can you upload that'll propel you and maybe your friends to "internet pseudo-celebrity" status? How about you bust out a camera and make another "parody" of the classic SNL Digital Short "Lazy Sunday"? Why not? There's only about 500 of them up on YouTube already and finding the real one is like that classic "Where's Waldo?" when he hides himself among ten thousand impostors. In other words: fun!

Go ahead. Do it. We'll all think you're cool, funny and totally original.

Oh and forgive me. You should know by now that by "parody" I meant "remake". Because, by definition, the original "Lazy Sunday" was a parody and making a parody of something that's already a parody has been proven impossible by mathematical chaos theory, as tragically demonstrated by the Wayans Brothers. But that shouldn't stop you from labeling your video "Lazy Sunday Parody" anyway. We'll know what you mean, don't worry. Or perhaps, instead, you can call it "Lazy Monday", or - check out this original gem - "Lazy Friday". It's all side splitting, believe me.

I seriously encourage you to do it. Why watch professional comedians do it when a couple of teenagers with a camcorder and Final Cut Pro can do a much better job at it? Perhaps one day everything entertaining ever done by professionals can be re-imagined by prepubescent aspiring film makers with little to no imagination of their own. Only then will I be free of mass media's polished offerings and, instead, be swimming in the joy that comes from watching your pale, poorly lit imitations.

Hey, internet peoples! I almost forgot. I'm looking for this clip from "How I Met Your Mother". Quick, all of you remake every scene from every episode so that every time I do a search and get results, I'll know ahead of time it's just one big cock tease.
